 Art without borders

The multifaceted designer is well-known for her unique universe combining architecture with scenography, illustration with sculpture, or even furniture design with jewelry.
She draws her inspiration from different artistic currents, such as modernism, avant-garde, and the 1950s and 1970s as well.

Garance Vallée x Franck Pellegrino : A four hands exhibition

On the occasion of Paris Design Week, which took place in September 2020, the artist invested the Parisian art house, Amelie, for an exhibition designed in collaboration with her husband Franck Pellegrino.
This exclusive installation, titled « Matières couplées » meaning coupled materials, showcased individual works of the two creators along with a series of abstract pictorial, textile, and sculptural works entirely made with their four hands. The couple comes together to imagine a collection of decorative pieces with modern and refined designs revealing unique shapes combined with warm tones carefully chosen by the artists.
The result offers an immersive and poetic experience between reveries and voluptuousness reminiscent of Garance’s multidisciplinary universe that you can also explore through her Asteré collection.
